Today was brought to you by Trajan, and she's a Corker! Generally referred to rather unkindly as 'The Film Poster Font' - this version of Trajan - a classic, old-style serif font, was re-cut by the designer Carol Twombly about 20 years ago. It's based on the font which appears on the Trajan Column in Rome, and is pretty much the first real cut of a classic western / Roman style font - everything before was either Greek, Latin, Aramaic or Hebrew in style.

It's Caps only - they didn't use lower case letters then, but there are quite a few fonts that have similar characteristics which do have a lower case if you need it. It's a beautiful font, really well drawn and full of mathematical references. It needs plenty of space and performs well as titling - there is a bold version but it's actually quite ugly and many designers make the mistake of using drop shadows or similar graphic devices. It's sadly so over used that it's going out of fashion very quickly and will probably vanish for a few years - I hardly ever use it because it's become such a cliche now - but as it's already a few thousand years old... I expect it can take a break.
