Tuesday

I've had a weird day. It's been very windy, but bright and sunny. I woke up feeling inexplicably tired, and just got moe and more tired and headachy until I gave up and went back to bed for a couple of hours before I fell over. I didn't have anything urgent to do - so I took the executive decision to put it all off until tomorrow. I've been in a terrible mood anyway - anything I attempted to do would have ended in tears.

The local election lead-up hear is getting increasingly grubby - although now it seems that large numbers of Green voters are 'swapping' their votes with other constituencies to vote tactically for Labour.

I moved my work computer upstairs to the spare room at the weekend - set my desk up and attempted to use it as a studio. Already gone off the idea. I'm almost certainly going to move it all back next weekend. I'll admit - there are more important things in life... but stuff like that really bothers me.

Since  I found out that the bloke up the road is the famous writer husband of a really famous writer, I bump into him every day. Despite having mutual friends - I find it impossible to speak to him coherently. I may have to change the dog walking route. His dogs are horrible.

A lot of people I know seem to have suddenly become pregnant. No real reason for it - just coincidence.

Very good radio program earlier about how colours are named and described. I now know where 'maroon' comes from, although I still cannot explain what the difference between 'teal' and 'taupe' is - or which is which.
