The blip is over. My stats have dropped down by about 70% to what they used to be - I am relieved! We're all friends in here again.
Lovely morning, despite the frost, nice and clear and very quiet on the country park - quite a bit of green showing through and a fair few magnolia trees in bloom. There is a house with a giant Wisteria nearby, I'll take a look later and see how they are doing.
Off to work shortly - I'm also going to throw caution to the wind and cycle home. First bike ride of the year. There were a few groups of hardy cyclists out this morning enjoying the clear roads, I envied them. I'm so unfit after this year long winter - really need to get some exercise. Chicken Madras for dinner tonight as an incentive.
My neighbours have put their house on the market - end of the row. It's quite a shabby house and has some structural issues, this is a very steep hill and the weight of every house bears down on it - I suspect that the gable end needs work - the plasterwork is looking very dodgy. There is a downstairs bathroom and a tiny yard. It's up for 125K, far more than I expected. I hope she gets it, or something close - it bodes well for me in the future, I think there has already been some interest - bloke that looked like a builder was giving it the once over. This is actually a really handy location now - good for travel and transport and with a Tesco and a big new Aldi on the way. I'm still worth quite a lot less than I paid for this place - probably going to be here a while longer, but I like it - and at least I have a house - I'd find it a nightmare getting a mortgage today.
