Thursday

Gales and rain all night - more rain due today, break in the clouds now - as every seagull on the south coast starts screaming with relief. I expect the gutters of Old Town Hastings are full of abandoned fright wigs, broken fingernails and discarded knickers, like ant typical Sunday morning.

I'm going to have to re-think my computer plans - using a laptop at home is giving me eyestrain and a bad back, I will now consider an imac - I'm kinda hoping that as they are now introducing new ones - I may get an old one cheaper. I follow a couple of tech organisations on Twitter and Google+ - if they spent more time looking after their own products and less time hysterically bashing Apple - perhaps they might sell more.

I'm due someone to arrive and take away all the old copper at 11am - if it's clear after then - I may go to the studio, but if it's still wet - I won't. I'm in London tomorrow - have yet to check the weather, expecting it to be much of the same.

Melvyn Bragg is trying to be witty on the radio - it's not working for me. Last night, I watched a youtube film of David Ike explaining how the moon was actually a giant hollow spaceship - highly entertaining tosh, he's really put on weight.
