Tuesday

I spent part of yesterday at the hospital in London, part two of my rather traumatic dental treatment - much better this time, didn't react so badly to the anesthetic, didn't seem as painful of stressful - all done now. They even closed the gap between my wonky front tooth and the one next to it - looks great. Still on meds for a week and have to be very careful with what's left of my poor gums - back to have a check up in November - but much relieved. My face was totally rigid - when I tried to wash my mouth out the water just fell out onto the floor - I'm quite sure I dribbled on the train - nobody wanted to sit next to me.

Afterwards - I came back to Hastings and went to work, I was still working at midnight, and then up at 5am to work. I made the mistake of updating my iphone - took 2 hours. Nearly missed my train back to London for an important presentation. When I arrived at Charring Cross, still had my bicycle clips on.

Travelled up with the girl I'm working for to present to a really difficult client - but it went very well ( the work looked really good ) and the response was positive, and then finally arrived home at 7pm. Taking the day off tomorrow.

There was an elderly woman on the train opposite me. About 70, looked like a perfectly normal old woman, except for the bright pink nail varnish, the fact she was reading a high end 'stylist' trade publication, and drinking cans of Mojito's. She got off at St Leonards, that explains everything.

Weather is shocking.

I am staggeringly tired and need about 12 hours sleep. I intend to spend tomorrow doing utterly pointless and worthless things.
