Throwing the baby out with the bath water

I vaguely considered buying a copy of the NOTW - but realised it would be playing into Murdock's hands - and besides... I can't actually remember having bought one, ever. I'm quite sure that this one will run and run. The momentum against Brooks, Coulson and anyone else involved in this grubby little affair will rumble on - it is predicted that at least 6 journalists and 3 policemen will be prosecuted over the phone hacking scandal - but it won't touch Murdock - if anything, he can claim the high moral ground and proclaim that as soon as he heard, he closed the paper down in disgust. I'm curious about Brook's comment that 'in a year - you will all understand why' - 'and there is worse to come' - come on then, you big tease.... spill the beans - you might as well get it off your chest ( nudge, nudge! ). Nothing will change - there will be a soaraway Sunday Sun - there always was going to be - "because the people want it' etc - and Darth Rupert will carry on as if nothing happened.

In other news - Blogger has reworked it's architecture so I'm struggling to make this work. I have a stack of very good old clothes in a pop-up-shop in The Old Town this weekend, hopefully they will make me some cash. It's opposite the Dragon Bar and run by one of my old students. When I dropped everthing off on friday - I went by bike - Which I chained to a drainpipe - and attempted to ride away without unlocking - in frobnt of about 15 people sitting outside drinking. Not clever.

I'm going to a lunch today on Eastern Ascent in a posh house, and The Ship - the gastro-pub I did some work for in Winchelsea - opens today. To be honest, I don't think I'll go - I hate being at the first night of anything.

In a spare moment yesterday I organised all my shirts - starting with black, through tyo blue - white - small checks to large... sorted by colour... Most satisfactory.
