I went to Brighton for a meeting. Odd sensation - literally got the
train - into a meeting and then back again with hardly a glance to
either side. Pleasant enough journey there and back - just over an hour
each way, with a John le Carre audiobook.
The first
thing I saw when I left the station was a woman in front of me, pushing a
pram - aged about 20. The worlds tightest leggings with nothing on
underneath,I could almost see the blood in her veins ) - and on the back
of her neck, all the way down her shoulders - in HUGE script lettering,
were the names of what I assumed to be her children (
Meghan/Courtney/Trinity ) - she looked like an old Psalter with arms and
legs - I suppose it's a conversation piece. On the way back an elderly
woman of about 70 with 'dishwater blond' hair was getting into a car -
she looked perfectly normal - except she had very heavily tattoo'd feet
with designs that crept up her ankles towards her calves - so that they
looked like she was wearing socks. I'm really out of my depth on this
one.
The rest of the visit was uneventful. The office I
went to kept having power cuts, and I managed to get through a whole
day in nice clothes but with my flies undone.
I'm
working at home tomorrow - loads to do - just gearing myself up. Tried
watching University Challenge on iPlayer... but it didn't have the same
excitement.
When I got home the dogs had eaten the post.
I checked to day and this blog is just shy of 50,000 views - with 100 today. Frankly - I have no idea who you all are, except maybe about 5 people. Occasionally people I don't know very well drop things into the conversation that they might only have picked up from here. I should go pay-per-view...

You've clearly got a lot of very reticent followers..I always enjoy reading your blog - but I've no idea why more of us don't comment.
I don't think there is too much to comment on, Janis... "I had toast today,... it rained "...
I am an anonymous fan, find your blog really entertaining but don't think I should comment because I don't know you. Reading what you are up to today has become part of my gearing up morning routine, and it usually makes me smile. Modern life is weird ... Natalie
