Wednesday

Up early - let the dogs go mad in a field with such long grass I couldn't actually see them. It may rain, or it may not - can't tell. I noticed last night that we have already lost about 20 mins of daylight... grim.

I'm staying home today, loads to do - nothing very interesting. I have to also have a think about money stuff which I may rant about later - but not now - I'm still drinking my coffee.

It appears it 'wasn't' me last night - I didn't win the £161 million Euro Lottery jackpot - unless the email is very late - or perhaps they send someone round in a limo to tell you and they can't find my address?? I don't really care who won it - I'm sure that whoever they are, they are very nice - but that's not helping me - is it.
I had a look through the UK edition of the Huffington Post yesterday, apart from being the ugliest news website in the world, it's also the most pointless and outdated - I already knew everything on there - is it supposed to be a cut and paste roundup of the weeks old news?

I have a large scab on the top of my head after banging it on a door frame yesterday. The scabs on my leg where I fell trough the floor boards are itching and sore - and I have hayfever.

The UK version of the Huffington Post is awful. It has all the authority of a local newspaper trying to cover international stories. They couldn't have launched at a better time, and they have had nothing to contribute. Arianna's terrible intro to the UK version was a warning in itself: 'We look forward to adding HuffPost UK to the mix, and to our real-time "digital water cooler"'.
