I decided to do nothing of note today - deliberately, refused to do anything that demanded thought or effort - it's actually been quite tiring. I may need to go to bed early.
The big news today was that Rebekah Brooks has finally resigned. You don't need to be reminded just how much I hate that woman. I'm sure that nothing will change - her career will be restored, Murdock will become the dark emperor again and people will get bored and move on - but it's been a fascinating wee,. and frustrating today for the BBC journalists who were on strike while Brooks was busy packing her pot plant and Rolladex into a cardboard box. I wonder if she was escorted out?
Had a horrible dinner, nothing wrong with it exactly - but the so-called 'premium' pasta shells tasted of dust. Might go to bed and watch Das Boot.
