The first day of my summer. It's so wet that even the seagulls are wearing little raincoats. Thick fog, cold, windy, pissing down and due to get much worse.
The dogs won't go out - but were very keen on my toast. I have to run down into town later - if I can find my waterproofs. It's so dark I can't tell blue from black. The large computer get's a bit iffy at boot-up when it's cold, and it happened today.
Jobs today include putting all the DVD's back in their cases. Some sorting out in the loft and a bit of cleaning up.
I'm also going to tackle some long term stuff, planning - budgeting - looking at the rest of the year etc - trying to figure out why I work all the time and never have any money. I also have to really carefully plan next year's teaching - it has to be a lot better than last year, or at least - work for me this time.
Oddly enough - I'm actually quite bored with the whole News International thing now. I wouldn't mind something else on the news.
