Thursday

Went to the fashion Show at college last night, some good, some not  - I've been to so many student and professional shows over the years that I find it impossible to be subjective, all I can see are the commercial pieces and what will sell, the expertise of the construction - or any good colour.

I went with Kay from St Leonards - which which was great because she's pretty on the ball and it was nice to catch up, I did her a small favour earlier in the year and she gave me one of her pencil cases as a thank you - it's fantastic, really chuffed with that.

Only 2 days left to get the show up, looking good so far but getting a bit tense now. It's the degree show private view tomorrow, looking forward to that and all the exam board stuff next week. I'm out to dinner on Saturday and have loads of commercial work over the weekend.

Some rather shitty journalism in the daily mail - an article on the website front page abut twin anorexic girls talking about their 20 years of starvation ( they do a fashion shoot - which is frankly offensive ) is next to an article and interview with Jennifer Anniston, talking about how she got her svelte figure back and bemoaning how fat she used to be.... crass isn't quite hard enough a word.

There is also another spectacularly shitty article with candid shots of 2 British football players ( neither of whom I have heard of ) taken in perfectly dull circumstances on a group holiday but cropped and edited to look compromising, the article itself goes to great lengths to suggest that they are making the beast with two backs, without actually saying so - or offering any evidence. Is this supposed to be a teaser for something? The papers usually do this as revenge or to force someone to make an admission, legally they are doing nothing wrong but the damage is done, they don't have the balls ( see what I did there, double-double entendre ) to out them, but the general thrust of the article ( I done it again, I should work in tabloids ) is that they are in a relationship. Sadly... I don't really give a fuck, but some twat will and get all silly about it.
