Through the grey mist

This weather is really pissing me off. I've been under a thick grey pall now for most of this week, it looks a little bit clearer today - but everything is so dark, grey and damp. Clothes won't dry ( I don't use a tumble dryer ) - the garden is a sodden slick of mud and we have about 10 feet visibility. The romance of Romney Marshes has been replaced by the grim backstreet murk of the London of Jack the Ripper.

UCAS day today. Almost evryone has managed to get their apps in - a relief, just a few stragglers and the the big wait.

Lots of work to do today, I've finished all the creative work and I just need to plough through the presentation. I'm hoping to get enough done to justify going to a private view later tonight. A good plan, but there are some excellent trash films on TV today (The Cassandra Crossing - ace!), and also Blithe Spirit.... which isn't trash.....hmmm...
