Alfie Greyhound had bad guts last night. As I result - I was up from about 2am. When a long-dog or sight hound has bad guts - you really know about it. He spent all night pacing the house, stomach churning like a washing machine - I could hear it from upstairs - constantly needing to go outside - and as the garden is full of feral cats, badgers and foxes at night - I have to chaperone him. I ended up spending all night sitting at the computer looking at crap. I went in to work at 8.30 and walked along the blowy seafront to keep myself awake. As soon as I arrived at work I started feeling nauseaus myself - made it through with the assistance of a Polo mint ( cheers Jane ). Got home at about 11am and spent all say in bed shivering and feeling horrible. Alfie Greyhound is now fine.
Feel a bit better now and I'm off tomorrow ( 'off' means earning a living ). I have to sit up late checking and completing all my students UCAS applications or they will be working in Tesco next year - what fun. 3 of them today called in sick with winter vomiting virus, I think I'm supposed to report it to someone.
