Fesrtival Titling Font

Festival Titling, designed by English designer and illustrator Phillip Boydell in 1950, was the official
display typeface for the 1951 Festival of Britain. It was effectively the brand identity for the UK that year, and is still very evocative of the time.

Tall, thin, and three-dimensional, Festival Titling tilts slightly to the right, creating a subtle sense of movement. After its service to the Festival, the typeface was released for general use in 1952.
