There are no definitive spellings - every sample of his own signature is spelled differently.
The 'common' spelling has an 'e'.
I've seen several books recently where it's spelled "Shakspeare".But, wanky spelling issues aside, is that really what the sign said or did you change it for comic effect? Either way, it made me laugh.
