Yesterday -

Involved work, moving large numbers of chairs and tables around the college to suit my needs ( 3 different types of desk - 2 different types of chairs to suit 3 work areas with up to 5 different group numbers at the same time - all worked out mathematically so the right people have the right desks and chairs at the right time - Mensa should set that one)

Good work all round, I had a chat with several of my old students - nice ( I've decide to re-claim the word nice ) and in the evening I went on the bling bike tide along the seafront ( Erica loaned me some fairy lights ) and to 2 private views. The one at the Burton Gallery was for a girl I went to college with 25 years ago - turns out she knows the bloke who came up to me last year and said - "I know you, you were at Camberwell in '86 - I'd just missed him by 5 mins. He has not aged a day.

I have to go into town later, and I may go to the Art in the park event - it's a lovely day and the long dog walk was a joy.

There is nothing on telly and the papers wound me up, I'm torn between my pathalogical hatred of Tony Blair and my fury at the bullshit around William Hague which just goes to demonstrate how easy it is to destroy people and how stupid and sinister the media are. Andy Coulson, who are you fucking kidding.

There was a scampering in the roof space above the kitchen this morning - but no evidence of internal invasion.

My first online phone bill has arrived in my inbox - heralding a new era of confusion, missed deadlines and penalty charges - and an invoice has gone missing so I'm absolutly fucking broke until the end of the month.

I still can't decide who to vote for to lead the Labour Party - it'd obviously going to be the Miliband but I never go with the flow. I think it would be hysterical if Diane Abbot got in because everyone assumed it was a shoe-in for Miliband and voted out of sympathy. She's shit herself.
