Tuesday

Proper Autumnal weather - which might explain why Alfie Greyhund has refused to go walkies - managed to get as far as the poo bins on Fairlight Avenue and as soon as mission accomplished - it was straight back home to bed. Little Mouse accepted the situation with good grace and went for a canter around the garden instead - only to find a dead crab - which appears to have been dropped by one of the Mini Metro sized seagulls that are watching my every move.

Working today - there are still traces of light fever but nothing I can't handle. Looking forward to getting out of the house. Last night's telly was superb - brilliant Culture Show special on The Art Of War with Alistair Sooke. The BBC manages stuff like this so well - they engage presenters that honestly engage with the subject - over the other side it's all about gloss and celebrity. Lots of really good stuff on tonight about The Battle of Britain - and the BC4 North series is really gearing up a few notches. While I was at home yesterday I watched 'One of our Aircraft is Missing' - just fantastic.

One of my mates went to the Theatre last night to see this and sat near Lord Archer - an opportunity to punch the fucker on the nose was lost, but then - it would have ruined the evening for a lot of people who were obviously enjoying it, so I forgave him... better luck next time, John - let me know if you need someone to hold your coat.
