I really shouldn't...
... go looking for stuff in a pile of old photographs.
This is me - aged 29, great job, earning £40k, the day I picked up the keys to my house in Brighton - only paid £70k - nice little 4 story number in the center - lovely, 15 year mortgage - piece of piss - will have paid it off when I'm 44 - and it will be worth £300k, fantastic - as long as I don't go and do anything stupid like.... oh.
Never mind, I'm in quite a good mood - I've committed two random acts of incredible kindness today - I really shouldn't bother - it usually ends in tears, generally mine - but why break the habit of a life-time. I actually saw the Old house the other day, it's gone really shabby now and lets the whole street down, all the paint is peeling and a big chunk of plaster has fallen off the front render. I dread to think what the fuckers have done to the inside... I can't believe how much money I spent on that place....I bet I'm the only person you know who had white, marble finish plaster in their kitchen. Ho Hum.
