Everlasting Apple

Out of curiosity, I just charged and booted up my Gen.1 white Apple ipod - I plugged it into my laptop - running a new version of iTunes - and added a new music library. Worked perfectly after 5 years in a cupboard, and actually sounded as good as, if not better than, my new ipod. Nice.
