I went to a networking event last night - you can imagine what I'm like in circumstances like that - but I'm ashamed to admit it was quite useful, even if I did just park myself in a comfy chair and drift off into a world of my own. I ended up having long and productive talks with two people I have already spoken to by email from the creative media and enterprise centers - and I'm seeing them both again soon top talk through some college stuff.
It started in the White Rock, I don't know what it is about seaside hotels off season - but I love them - full of nutters and social inadequtes ( yes, that includes me ) and then I went to a Lo-Fi night at Bullet - which I thought excellent - and I never knew they had a basement bar - which I really liked.
I couldn't sleep so I stayed up until 3am watching "Taste The Blood Of Dracula" - nice.
