To my astonishment - it's been a nice day. The sun has been out - it almost feels like spring.
The kettle started leaking, and as I cannot go for more than an hour without tea - I was forced to but a new one. Because we live in a modern, Internet orientated world - this meant I had to walk for half an hour to find a shop that sold one. I also stocked up on cheap toiletries from the pound shop - which was a bit like being in the Jeremy Kyle show. It was actually quite frightening.
The HMV has had a bit of a re-working - same number of shelving units - but in a herringbone pattern so it looks and feels 10000 times better. Common sense, really. I bought an old office cupboard very cheaply - when it's delivered it will either by CD storage or a kitchen unit - really nice piece of furniture.
Bumped into someone I knew who was on crutches - tells me she broke her leg last December - that indicates how little socialising I do now.
Cleaned the kitchen, made a casserole, walked the dogs, did some sorting out - had a nice, quiet day with radio 3 and no stress.
