When we do creative pitch work - I usually put in one concept that's a bit blue-sky, ambitious or over the top - just for the creative exercise, clients never go for it - but it reminds them that you are not just a machine and that creativity can actually be quite exciting.
Sadly - on this occasion - they have gone for it - so now I'm trying to figure out how to pull together a shoot which includes props and multiple locations for a budget that wouldn't normally cover the lunch bill. Hence all quiet on the Grey Area front.
In addition - I've been asked to sit on the judging panel for the ISTD awards in a couple of weeks, which is brilliant - but a bit scary at the same time, so bear with me on that one.
Felt like spring yesterday - just for a day - you could even smell it in the air. Raining again now.
