Monday

Not that cold, not that wet, not that exciting. This coffee still isn't very good.

I wish they would hurry up and tell us if the skeleton under the car park really is Richard III, it's been dragging on for months - I'll only be satisfied if they tell us Lord Lucan.

Listening to the early morning news on the radio, struggling to understand the logic behind billions and billions of pounds being spent passing the nuclear waste from Sellafield about and how the costs will continue and never end, anyone who thinks that nuclear is the 'cheap' option is insane.

The total lifetime cost of dealing with this has continued to rise each year and has now reached £67.5bn.

I'm going to work at home today - I need to concentrate and it makes sense - it's not cold so I'm not bothered about the cost of heating the room.

The papers are full of reports about the Superbowl last night - all about the acts, the performances, the advertising.... and yet not one single mention of who was playing or what the score was.
