Bloody cold day - but lovely and clear for the early dog walk. I stayed home last night to make sure that the dogs were not spooked by the fireworks - but actually, there were very few - it was quieter than I have ever know Nov 5th - but then, there have been multiple displas recently and the big festival was at Lewes last night - 40 miles away.
The wood burner has been fired up at the studio - lovely - and smells great too. Worked there all day yesterday and back again today.
One of my friends has moved into a house in the old town - there are 3 of them sharing the rent - it's very affordable, and it's a HUGE 5 bedroom property - really big rooms, lovely views and a glazed feature over the landing - very lucky, much higher standard of living than me...
Voting in America today, I may have issues with Obama but the prospect of a Romney administration are unthinkable. Stocked up on lentils and dried pulses yesterday - looks like a hearty dinner every day this winter.
