Up early - bright and sunny, nice dog walk - ruminating on the concept of a fried egg sandwich.
Did lots of cleaning yesterday - I bought a half price had steamer from Robert Dyas and did all the bits in the PUV windows that are hard to clean - magical results - did the whole kitchen in the end - and tackled the fridge door - which has been opening on the wrong side for 5 years, time taken to fix - 4 mins ( including a trip up into the loft to get a small wrench )
I listened to the Humphries / Entwhistle spat yesterday - I thought it was shrill and hysterical - I'm not a big fan of Humphries, and at the time - I couldn't help thinking it sounded a bit scripted - or 'led' - so the resignation was no surprise, seemed very artificial and 'engineered'.
In a desperate attempt to get away from The Archers - I'm listening to Classic FM ( this is an analogue radio - the digital is downstairs ) - annoying presenter has the kind of voice that seems familiar, checking online I discover it's Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen. He was at college with me, on the diploma course - he had a giant A0 portfolio that used to flap about in the wind on Camberwell Road as he struggled towards the bus stop, and a ponytail.
I'm working today - I have to stay at home tomorrow waiting for the delivery of a prob that will be too late to use - I've already had to put something in digitally. I'm also in Brighton next week to collect some new work and have a job to do for a client in London - so fairly busy.
If it stays dry for a couple of days - I'm going to do some gardening - have 40 bulbs to plant - I never have much success with things like that - I'm probably wasting my time again.
I think that this is really interesting.
