Last night - 25 years after the Great Storm - we had horrible wind and gales all night. had to check the garden fences before I let the dogs out.

Really enjoying working at the studio - seem more focussed and I'm getting more done in less time. No distractions or drinking tea all day. I may be in Brighton tomorrow afternoon - it's going to rain, a lot.

Managed to get into town for half an hour between projects. There was a scene in Oxfam ( two, in fact ) a very autistic young man helping out  was in meltdown because the 'arts - crafts and humour - through to - religion' section didn't correspond to his carefully worked out biro on A4 paper schematic - poor bloke was in tears. At the till - the rest of the staff, 3 middle aged types - were in a terrible state - a middle aged man with a Russian accent and small fur hat was causing a scene - apparently he'd been made some sort of promise the day before and wasn't satisfied with the service.  " I only have one ear - I hear one thing, a promise was made, a word is a bond, I don't care if it's one pound - or a thousand - I have a contract of honour with the man who served me yesterday and I demand you honour it" - frankly - I'd have just called the police, I got the impression he had been there some time.

I also realised that - if you are in central hastings during odd hours ( not rush hour, lunch time, or Saturday ) - everyone is either mad, unemployed, or dangerous ( including myself)

Whilst I (obviously) welcome te outcome of the MaKinnon case - which should NEVER have dragged on for so long - I really can't trust Theresa May - I would assume that there is far more to her choice to reassess the extradition system than meets the eye. It's really silly that it has come to this - Aspergers shouldn't be a reason to withdraw extradition - it should have been withdrawn because it was just plain fucking stupid. Man on the radio from the US says that there is a very 'humane and just' legal system in the US - I should refer him to the Manning case and tell him to shut the fuck up.
