It's amazing how many people think it's acceptable to drive at speed in a thick fog with no lights. I decided to walk to work rather than risk death on the roads, I say walk - I think stumbling through a pea souper would been more accurate. The thick fog makes everything wet. The floorboards change colour and the trees sag under te weight of the water. Damp smells everywhere.
Last night I had one of my rare 'meat' days. Cooked a chicken casserole - it was very nice - but I couldn't eat it, just didn't have the stomach for it.
I'm sitting at work wondering which of the 3 clients who expressed an interest in speaking/seeing me today will actually get around to confirming - so that I can plan what I'll be doing and where I'm going to be later today and for the rest of the week.
I might be in Brighton - which means I can collect a hard drive - if not - I'll have to rely on ordering online. Either way - I'd like to know...
Dull news, dull day, dull lunch planned.
