Friday

Bloody horrible day, cold, wind, drizzle, very low light levels - large pot of coffee on the go already. Took the dogs out along the cliffs - they seemed to like it.

Did quite a lot yesterday - and as a result - I have the day to myself, which means cleaning the loft out ( again ) - nearly finished! I am going to be ruthless today - if it has no value, it goes.

Paid off a tiny bit more of the mortgage yesterday and arranged new home and buildings insurance - very practical day all round, I may need to go to Rye later - but I'd rather not - I'm in London next Thursday to see a client - if I need anything, I'll buy it then. I am supposed to go to an event later today - will have to wait and see.

Nothing interesting on the news - we are apparently out of recession, not that anyone has noticed - too busy salivating over Saville. I was in the HMV earlier in the week - there was a large display of 'British Great' - Tommy Cooper, Frankie Howerd, Dick Emery... I just though "Who next".

My copy of 'Howl' arrived in the post yesterday and I'll read it later today - according to the flyleaf - there are 1,090,000 copies in print.

I keep getting 'endorsed' on Linkedin - not really sure how that works - mostly by people I never see.... and in some cases, have not seen in a decade.
