Tuesday

I worked until 4am on Sunday night and then until 7pm in the studio yesterday, so I overslept this morning - I now have 2 days off - time to catch up - clean the house and fix broken things. I'm pretty knackered, it may go quite quickly if I decide to sleep through it. I have a few vague plans to go on a long bike ride tomorrow - possibly Dungeness.

I managed to catch big chunks of the Paralympic closing ceremony - loved it ( except 70% of Coldplay and Rhianna and J ) - much better than the 'proper' Olympics - loved the fireworks - whole thing was ace. large chunks of the UK population stopped being twats and behaved like human beings for 2 weeks and it was all genuinly exciting and moving.

Now we can all go back to supporting spoilt, selfish, overpaid football players.

The old woman next door is moaning about my fences again.
