Monday

I'm not a huge fan of bank holidays - for some reason, I find them quite depressing. There is a street market in the old town later - I may go.

Spent the whole of Sunday cleaning, this included getting the steamer out and removing dog hair from between the floorboards and washing the skirting boards. Apparently - there was 'something on' in London - missed the whole thing. I blew up the tumble dryer - I think there was a clue in the fact that stuff was coming out too hot to touch..

Have overslept 3 days in a row - that's not like me at all - 9am today.

The Daily Mail have published a story about a mans body being washed up on the local beach yesterday - however - the morons who call themselves journalists have managed to get it mixed up with an accidental drowning in Cornwall and produced a mash up story that makes no sense whatsoever and is fairly offensive, however you look at it. People get paid for that.

I bought a couple of plants yesterday but the weather was too bad to do any gardening ( It's like November ) but it might improve tomorrow. My tomato plants are growing at a freakish rate - they need tying up later - too heavy to support themselves. The result - meethinks - of the super compost I made.

Watched a documentary with Sooke about portrait painting Queens through - very good stuff. I'm gearing up for a dog walk, something to eat - and then.... work!
