I'm stuck in for 2 days waiting for deliveries - but I have plenty to get on with. Managed to finish the creative work for a friends wedding invitations and they are happy - weight off my mind. Plenty of 'forward' stuff to do now - and one very large invoice to write.
Went to a creative industries networking event last night - I'm going to have to do more and more of that sort of thing - it was good, showed some work etc, had good feedback - nice bit of confidence boosting.
I went into Poundstretchers yesterday - I was shocked to see several things I want to buy - including some identical items to product in Debenhams at a fraction of the price - I've always avoided the place, having had so many bad reports - but was quite impressed by what I saw, as long as you edit out all the crap.
I dunno what all the fuss is about facebook - of course it was over priced - it was the greed and stupidity of the idiots who pushed the price up that caused that, no point bleating that the value has naturally dropped to a sensible level - it's supposed to be about the long game.
