Sunday Night

Even in the dark it's too hot to move about much. My dead ear is killing me - that whole side of my head in numb and it's really pissing me off - I'll see what the chemist can do in the morning - seeing as they refuse to syringe my ears. I've tried to do some work but the constant buzzing and throbbing is too annoying - and talking on the phone on the wrong side is very strange.

I tried listening to The Vortex on the radio but it wasn't working for me - so I have a couple of crap films on, flickering in the half light. I'm going to bed soon - after I search out a video online of LuLu dancing on Strictly, which was - I am told, hilarious.

I don't think it did me any harm to have a quiet day in a dark room - at least I used the spare time wisely and had a couple of poached eggs, having dusted off the poaching pan - worked a treat - for a change.

It's Bonfire Night in 2 weeks here - last year was really cold - seems very strange to think Winter is just a few days away.

Try dropping some warm olive oil into your ear.

I made a special trip to Coop for extra virgin - resulting in badly stained pillows and nothing else....

Oh dear. I have always suffered from ear infections, inflamed ear drum etc. Mum used to pour red hot olive oil (from the chemist) into my ear. Suppose the burning was distraction from any other pain.
Migraine sufferers think they have the worst pain, I reckon ear ache is equally bad.

I ended up spending a tenner (!!!!!!!!!) for some stuff that did nothing, and self syringing my own ears with soapy water - some relief, but not enough. I'm prone to ear infections too - the worst is when you lose your balance - 'orrible, and difficult to explain to people.

Christmas last year everyone thought I had a drink problem because I was wobbling all over the shop with my 'bulging ear drum'.
Go to the doctors - maybe she'll give you some Seroxat for it.
Piriton is quite good. Gets you all drowsy.

no chance - last time I was there she offered me lithium - If I go back she might book me in for a lobotomy
