Sunday Morning

Bonfire night was good fun. Met up with my mate Phil and his 3 year old daughter - I have absolutly no idea how to deal with small children, she was a wise little thing and could smell my fear. Town was packed - it seems to get bigger every year - I'm not a fan of fireworks so I went to MT's 40th Birthday party on the Stade and did a bit of dancing to Iggy Pop, and then home.

Have woken up today with a streaming cold, not what I was intending.

Spent yesterday burning things in the garden - have pretty much cleared all the rubbish now and the loft is mostly clear. Garden is starting to look tidy, I'm gearing up to doing a bit of terracing in anticipation of next year.

Quite a bit to do today - including cleaning and washing. I'm actually thinking about getting a chicken and having a proper Sunday dinner. Quite a busy week coming so I need some fortification. It's already quite cold ( but lovely during the day ) - and it's expected to get much colder again this week. It's nearly November, I'm looking forward to the end of the year now - I've earned enough to keep me comfortable well into the new year - although my next tax bill on account is due on Jan 31st - so it ll starts again. I should really have a look at what I've earned - it will be up on last year. I probably need to build up a few expenses.
