Beautiful day, really lovely weather. went to a meeting at work - did a few jobs and rode over to the Old Town and ate chips on the beach. They have taken down the hoardings on the Jerwood and it looks great already. Saw a few people I know and poked about in the shops. There is a table sale and street market on Courthouse street tomorrow - and there was a Tunisian market in town today ( dunno why.. )
Day somewhat ruined by the news that Steve the barber - who used to run a barbershop on the High Street and then moved to a place under the East Lift - has been found dead at home, apparently he hung himself. Every shop I went into they were talking about it. Very sad. I bought a stuffed shark off him once. Money trouble, I'm informed. Popular bloke, lots of very upset people.
Going to stay home now - had enough excitement for one day.
