The news at this time of the day is quite drab and usually stretched to breaking point. In the papers, much criticism of the Apple end of year results - which are simply 'staggeringly good' as opposed to 'really staggeringly good'. Selling 17.5million expensive iPhones rather that the 'projected' 19 million is apparently a bad thing. Really?
Julian Barnes wins accolades and £50k for a boring looking book that I just couldn't be bothered reading - and even supporters call just 'quite' good.
I'm seeing the world through lemsip eyes this morning and I don't like it, and I HAVE to go to work.... God help them.
