Thursday night

It rained all day, it was lovely - I like the rain. up here at the top f the hill I get to see the weather all the way down the valley - mostly today was fog, mist, heavy downpours and drizzle - tomorrow will be fine... which is just as well, as it's international Pirate day in Hastings and we are expecting at least 10,000 people in pirate gear for a world record, we achieved it last year only to lose it shortly afterward with abut 6500... I may avoid town tomorrow, the police will be confiscating real hooks and cutlasses.

I managed to get quite a lot done today, and I also spoke to a new supplier... something I hate doing... but he seemed amenable.

I've been working into the evening, and for background noise - I put 'A Night To Remember' on the mini DVD player. I was concentrating very hard earlier and realised that the sound of screaming seems to be rather soothing... the windows are open and I doubt the neighbours would agree.

They have been talking again on the radio about petitions to return the death penalty... I really hate the mentality of some of my felow countrymen sometimes, Britain would be great without the British - what does that icon of British popular culture and role model to a generation of women think??

Glamour model Katie Price aka Jordan says that rapists should be punished by being raped.

Jordan, who also agrees with the death penalty, believes in dealing out the same kind of punishment to the perpetrator. "The way I see it is an eye for an eye," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"So if someone rapes a girl he should be bent over and the same thing done to him. I'm sorry that's just the way I feel. I'm very strict. If someone is done for drink-driving they should have their licence taken away for life," she said.
