Monday

Looks like another lovely day. Finished work at 11.30 last night and woke up to an emergency bit of fixing at 5am - Hong Kong publishers do things slightly differently and won't make changes, no matter how simple - which is reasonable. All sorted in a few seconds.

I've already 'done' the papers - It's all Libya. Cameron has had to cut short another holiday... he doesn't have much luck in that department... I had a holiday once... donm't remember much about it now. No tears here.

Just been reading the reviews of the live stream of 'Turn of the Screw' from last night - it's available here to watch for 3 weeks. I was really impressed by the quality of presentation - no problems at all with image or sound, very well filmed and lit too - well worth it if you get the chance.

I'm booked to work all this week - which is fantastic, as I'm getting commercial rates. In fact... the way things are going - I'm going to have to stop complaining about money for a couple of months. I appear to be 'bucking the trend' - as the radio claimed earlier that we are all substantially worth off in the last 4 months.

Article in the Guardian states the obvious that cycling is good for the economy - worth billions in revenue, employs thousands of people and cyclists take less time off sick. Doh!...

It must be 'silly season' - the Mail have an article about 'fringes' - the new fashion must have' - accompanied by photographs of famous women who have been sporting fringes for years... in some cases... decades.
