Monday

Lovely morning, but as I've been pushed to do some work - my holiday is suspended today.

Yesterday was spent at home - I went through all my books, separating some to be given to the college, and some for either the boot sale or charity shop. Moved the rest into my cramped studio for the time being as I prepare to do some work on the front room. Measured the rooms up for the paneling, I'm going to T&G some walls and plaster others. Found a house of similar style that has had the same treatment and I really like it. I hate plastering anyway. I'm also T&G-ing one wall between the living and dining room because I can say to the people I eventually sell this house to - that they can open up the passage between the two if they want - it's just stud wall. I hated it - much better without it.

All that reduced Sushi yesterday did it's trick and I had a succession of lurid and disturbing dreams, mostly involving mad dogs, air hostesses and giant factories - it was a bit like Eraserhead in parts.

The dogs are very quiet today - although they did have an extra long walk yesterday.

I'm in London on Thursday - looking forward to that, and I'm going out for a meal on Friday - so I have a bit of excitement this week. I also need to organise new homes and contents insurance for the end of this month.

During the clean up of my books I discovered about 20 notebooks - I keep buying them - I have a feeling it's some kind of phsycological disorder - buying nice notebooks and not putting anything in them...
