Overslept again and woke up full of aches and pains - the result of either being run down or possibly MS, Luekemia, Motor Nuerone Disease etc - or possibly just lack of exercise. As it's drizzling the dogs were reluctant to go for a long walk so I've saved an hour. Plenty to do to day, better get on with it.
Watched a very good doc. on iplayer about the history of British Documentary films last night, really enjoyed it. I have two meetings tomorrow with new clients - and if all goes well, I'll be fully booked up for work through the whole summer.
Still battling with the timetable for next year - if I'm not careful I'll be teaching every day again and be unable to earn a living - and end up in the same financial mess I am in now. The only good thing is that next April - I should have paid enough extra tax through my salary to cover the tax on my commercial earnings - and that might give me a bit of a break.
I'm also gearing up to a big clearout and organisation of paperwork and ephemera, I have a very bad habit of collecting 'stuff' that might be useful eventually. I have set aside the haberdashery cabinet for archiving everything.
The news is dull, except the curious case of the saline poisoner. The papers are full of pictures of the 'party girl' nurse suspect - all rather unflattering. They have very short memories - as the 'creepy landlord' from the Bristol Jo Yates case is about to sue several of them for with hunting him during his mistaken arrest. If this girl turns out to be innocent... well, frankly - she's fucked - whatever reputation or privacy she may have had is gone. There should be far better guidelines about this sort of thing... oh, hang on... talking about the British Press here...
