I bloody love Saturdays - I really do.
No post yesterday - far too busy - so appologies to the 195 people who clicked on expecting me to tell them, what the weather was like.
Among other things, I bought a suit. I'm not lucky with 'vintage', but I went into one of the stalls in Courthouse and had a rummage around the old clothes, finding a mid grey wool 1960's hand finished DAKS suit, which... to my utter astonishment, could have been made for me ( it was certainly made for someone, and I can't believe that there is anyone else out there with my specific size and shape ) - yes, tall, slim, broad chest and shoulders, long leg and perfect cut. It looks exactly like a suit that I would pay the best part of a thousand pounds in Saville Row - and the cost.... £15.
I had an old friend visit on Thursday - he went to my school and he's a professional photographer - he's looking to re-locate down here and had been to see a flat - had a few drinks in the late afternoon with him, sitting outside The Anchor - which was nice (I'd spent the morning grappling with timetabling ) - and yesterday I spent the evening with friends a a table exactly 10 feet further up the road. Managed to get quite a bit done over the last couple of days - but still have a lot to do this weekend. Might be working in-house next week in Brighton.
