Personal Climate Challenge

I have to go to Brighton today to meet a client. It's not even 6am yet - but it's already very hot... by 10am it will be raining, and shall probably rain all day - this means I have to take something waterproof.. will be be still warm.. of cooler.. part of the journey is om my bike - what to wear.. what to wear???

Yesterday was mostly meetings, in turns boring, stressful, frustrating and infuriating. One of them had free coffee - which I suspect was a bribe. I then managed to get into a really stressful situation regarding room allocation and timetabling for next year - I ended up leaving before my workmates saw what it was like if I lost my temper.

Last night I had a very bad dream involving someone I used to go out with ( who was a pain in the arse ) - looking after their flat while they fucked off on holiday ( makes a change from paying for it ) - and the inland revenue raiding the house and impounding the dogs and holding them hostage. It wasn't nice.

In other news - The NI thing just gets grubbier and grubbier - I'm trying to imagine how Gordon Brown must have felt when Rebekah Brooks ( how the fuck does she have his home phone number )  rang to say she had seen his son's medical records.

The Beckhams have named their child 'Harper Seven' - which is probably the most stupid name ever - apparently 'Seven' has 'great spiritual meanings for the Beckhams'... spiritual??

I suppose this will now spark a trend for chavs to give their kids names that sound like postcodes or something out of Brave New World.

'West 11' - has a good ring to it - and was a decent book, 'Liverpool 8' has provenence and 'WC1' has... implications...
