I didn't post yesterday - I was too pissed off. I've stayed home today to work, and I feel much better. Did quite a good job of some retail stuff so I'm a lot happier
I walked the dogs earlier, the house round the corner that has given it's lovely garden over to block paving had 5 workmen in the front - it's very hot so they were all shirtless, except one... for some reason he was laying block paving in boots and a pair of blue underpants. They were listening to crappy disco music on their portable stereo... it was very strange.
Yesterday i went to see my dentist, he's Spanish and very genial - all the girls love him and kids think he's fantastic - but I just can't get any sense out of him - he tells me that I have an infection in my gum, despite the fact my teeth are healthy, I never eat sweets and brush my teeth about 3 times a day - I've never smoked and I have very good teeth. I can't understand why - he says it's probably genetic and that some people are prone to it - but that's hardly the point. I did ask if it was related to the ear infection that went into my jaw on that side and he just shrugged and said 'yeh, perhaps'. He gave me some antibiotics, I checked with a consultant who told me that they were a waste of time - and I'm booked into see a specialist hygenist next month ( on my birthday ) for a one hour deep cleaning session - which I have to pay for. I'm really pissed off. I know people who drink, smoke, eat shit and have never been near a dentist and they have no trouble - yet I'm really careful and it's all gone to shit. Hence being pissed off yesterday.
Have a load of work to do tonight but I'm having my dinner first ( quite early ) - back to college tomorrow for several fairly stressful days. It's the fashion Department catwalk show in the early evening.... in the same space as an exhibition on the life of Anne Frank... can't get my head around that one.

How ridiculous your dentist is, he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about, I can tell, I'm dentistrily qualified as well as medically, and all by virtue of reading Family Circle in my youth. Well, my in-between-youth and now times.
I now have Roumanian dentists and they are a lot of fun, I recommend you to get some.
As for the builders, clearly they were the beginnings of a flash mob, had you stayed around longer, they would have broken into 'YMCA, it's fun to stay at the YMCA...'
