I don't actually have to be at work until 10am - but I'm normally there by 8am - however, today - as it's raining and there is something I need to do at 9am - I'm going in later... and I already feel guilty... still on time... but just not 'early'.

It rained all night - not heavy rain, but enough to probably bring lots of new life to the garden - fingers crossed.

I read an article in The Guardian earlier by Charlie Brooker - it was a modest, fairly sensible and grown up piece about paying for stuff over the internet. I don't normally bother reading the comments on these things - but I did today. It never fails to amaze my how stupid and prejudiced big swathes of the general public are. My favourite 'friendly' comment was:

"I worked for an Internet Service Provider once - people would regularly ring up and complain that the quality of films and music that they had downloaded illegally wasn't good enough - when we explained that it wasn't anything to do with us, they would regularly become abusive".

Looks like I'm doing a boot sale in Iklesham next weekend - quite looking forward to it - I'm hoping to have cleared half of the loft by the summer holidays. I've also made a loose agreement to put all my tretchikoffs up in Butlers Emporium later in the month as a small show - and then sell them - quite pleased about that - this house is far too small to have them all hanging up and I could do with the money. I have all the portfolios and catalogues anyway. I'm also thinking of having a book cull - I have far too many and they are a nightmare when I move house or decorate. Got rid of a lot of old clothes over the weekend and I'm getting rid of a couple of computers and a giant bag of cables and peripherals later. I'm practically a minimalist....
