6am - ran out of milk and drinking black coffee.

Been really busy this week already - I'm working at home today but I have to go in later to give a presentation to a load of industry types, need to finish preparing.

Have not had much time to myself this year - everything is really full on and I'm getting pulled in lots of directions, but I may have some interesting work for the summer lined up and another opportunity has come up that I'm really interested in - but I know I won't be the only one - I have to give it some serious thought.

I was just about to leave work last night and a distressed student called to say she had been burgled and the flat trashed - so I went over and sat there while the police did her stuff and her mum came over. Quite interesting to see how organised and competent the police were -he was very good at handling a distressed girl and got her to give a concise statement without much fuss.

The dogs are still digging up my trees and plants - it's really pissing me off - if I catch them it's going to be very nasty.
