Have spent 2 hours today on the phone to the revenue already - they cannot seem to be able to update my corrected figures, signed off with the words "try agan in 48 hours, thanks for your call" ringing in my ears.
Working at home today, have a mass of administration to get through - and some work I'm not keen on, among other things. It's a lot cooler today, which I prefer, frankly. We are either getting torrential rain or something called a 'Spanish Plume' of Schorchio weather over the weekend. I really need a change of scene so I'm thinking about going to Brighton tomorrow for a couple of hours to get some inspiration.
A lot of stuff at work is really getting me down, I'm not phsychologically suited to authority / conflict and politics - I just want to get on with my job - but it's getting really difficult. I'm not paid enough to cope with all the rap so I'm thinking about re-assessing the future - it's not escaped me that there is at least one person who would be able to replace me.
Dental issues have reared their ugly head again - my last wisdom tooth is starting to move - I knew it would, I should have insisted that the dentist removed it last time. This all seems to go back to the ear infection I had about 2 years ago that went into my jaw on this side, never been right since - something else to piss me off.
Talking of which - some fool decided to camp right in the middle of the field I use for dog running. I bet they were not expecting maniacal barking at 6am outside their tent, too scared to come out and check.
I've decided that the only way to vote today is not to vote - first time I've ever not voted. As much as I despise Cameron I'm very NO, I don't believe in AV or PR, it should be one person, one vote - taking personal responsibility for their actions - the money would have been better spent finding ways to get people off their arses and into the polling station.
I feel like spending the day sulking.

Can totally recommend Battle Road dental practice. It is brilliant, lovely and clean with nice (NHS) dentists. And in date magazines, it's the small things...even making the fact I potentially need root canal work better.
