After a long and very enjoyable dog walk and 2 double-decker bacon sandwiches, I cycled down into town - there was a boot sale in the park - saw a couple of people I know and cycled around Alexandra Park, which is absolutly fantastic, one of the best in-town parks in the country - lovely Victorian planting as well as modern gardens and water features. Cycled over to St Leonards and bought a very good Penguin M. short sleeve shirt, and then over to the Old Town to have a rummage around the junk shops. Bought a brilliant little Vito B camera for 4 quid, perfect condition and a smart little leather case - really pleased with it. Built like a tank, fully manual and very good looking.
back home in time to hear Tony Blair described as 'a maniac and a very, very bad man' on Any Questions - which cheered me up.A bit of cleaning and sorting out and I'll do some quick gardening before I go out later, have two invitations tonight - one at the Dripping Well for a catch up drink with the Outrageous Decadence team - and one at The Dolphin for a friends birthday and a musical event. I have a full beard so I must devote about an hour to getting it under control - never easy.
