Not a bad day - more staggeringly good weather - up at %am, watched last nights Walking Dead on the computer with a coffee, then a dog walk and home by 7, ready for work at 8. Teaching went well - I had staff in and they are really popular, I've known Pete since I was 20 and he's genius - and Charlotte is doing a series of evening classes for me and they are bound to be popular.
I had a free lunch, due to a mix up in the teaching kitchens they wouldn't take our money so we had lovely home made burgers and chocolate brownies.
Mondays have very quiet roads so I was down the hill by bike in just a few moments. Actually - I was pretty quick getting back up too. My septic foot has already heeled - I have the constitution of an Ox, given half a chance.
Some of the green beans have come through - on the radio at the weekend they said that in hot countries, they plant beans deep and water once - encouraging the roots to grow deep and strong, not watering them again - ensuring decent and hardy growth - might work, although my soil is really crap.
I read an article today about a house designed particularly strong and secure - enough to withstand earthquakes, hurricanes and 'zombie apocalypse' - which seemed reasonable.
I'm watching the drama doc about Atlantis on iplayer it looks crap, but I'll soldier on, it seems the ancient Minoans all spoke with random English colloquial accents. Nice.
