Thick white sea mist blanketing Hastings made the long dog walk less attractive than usual so I stuck to Clive Vale. Ultra strong coffee and toast later - ready for the day.
Went down to Tackleway last night and had a very pleasant evening with JC drinking organic wine and eating spinach fritatta. She has the best view on the South Coast from the back of her house - must remember to take the camera down next time. The cottage on the end has been rented out by what seems to be 6 young men in their 20's who spend all their time carousing in the garden with their shirts off - we think they may be squaddies, they look like, behave like and sound like squaddies - and despite what protestations they may offer - judging by last nights performance they are all one bottle of beer away from mutual masturbation and crying in the bathroom in the morning.
Last night I popped into the COOP and they had reduced punnets of UK grown strawberries ( I always check where the fruit came from ) from £2.50 to 20p - I bought 8 boxes, which filled 2 large bags - and shall enjoy them later as a giant smoothie.
Little Mouse has totally ruined one of my good chairs, digging out the seat. I managed not to retaliate with an act of violence and just threw a blanket over it and gritted my teeth.
Loads to do today, if I get motivated - and a big pasta dinner with my name on it later - I have a meeting in Brighton tomorrow afternoon for some commercial work and I'm planning quite a lot for this half term - but I still need a fairly low key, low pressure finish to the weekend.
The giant black stealth totem that went up at the weekend is directly in front of Christ Church and visible from my house... I suspect it's the reason I had hangover flashbacks yesterday.... I'll take a photo later and start conspiracy rumours about black-opps, alien infiltration and sinister forces at work is Sussex, that's after I've fashioned a helmet from tin foil.
