I went to buy a garden burner - I bought one last year for £26 but used it so much I burnt the base out - I had a look in B&Q - £37, and in Winchesters - £41... fucking hell - everything seems to cost about 30% more than last year.
B&Q full of retired people buying boxes of small and rather pathetic border plants already in bloom... and tomato plants that already have ripe tomatoes on them.
