Good Friday

And Very good it is - beautiful weather - saw a huge diversity of birds on the early walk, many I've  never seen before - a quick trip to the RSPB website revealed Willow Tit, Chaffinch, Brambling, Fieldfare, Jackdaw, Black Cap, Gold crest - and the trusty Pheasant - plus a couple of thins I can't identify - including a small and svelte little bird with a bright yellow fuzzy head.

Plenty to do today - probably going out for a drink later so I need to crack on. I've been informed it hasn't rained for 34 days. Going to give the garden a good soak later. Found a really nice garden burner at Argos - a square self assembly number - hopefully I can collect later today or tomorrow.

The bin men came today - I didn't expect them - but I was glad because I've missed the last 2 weeks. Something comes into the garden at night and tries to get into the bin - and then has made several attempts to dig up the cherry tree. Possibly a Chupacarba.

This is brilliant weather to wash towels - they dry lovely.
